ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SCHOLAR PROGRAM

Advance your career at the highest levels of Army innovation through the Artificial Intelligence Scholar Program (AISP). The Army Artificial Intelligence Integration Center (AI2C) offers two fully funded opportunities for Active Component officers, a PhD program and a Master’s degree program.

The AISP PhD develops officers with the expertise to lead independent AI research, shape Army AI strategy, and deliver cutting-edge solutions at speed. As the highest academic credential, the PhD prepares graduates to expand the body of AI knowledge, apply emerging research to real Army problems, and guide the development of future AI concepts and capabilities. The AISP Graduate Degree is a highly competitive 20–23 month program that provides selected officers the opportunity to pursue advanced studies in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or Autonomous Systems Engineering building the technical depth needed to drive AI-enabled modernization across the force.

Upon completion, selected officers will serve a follow-on utilization broadening assignment with Transformation and Training Command (T2COM) and the Army Artificial Intelligence Integration Center (AI2C), applying their expertise directly to Army modernization efforts.

Officers with exceptional performance, strong academic potential, and a passion for leading at the forefront of emerging technology are encouraged to explore this opportunity.
